Easy to get to from JFK airport, just call them on the free phone and they send a bus. Close to Jamaica station too.
They wanted a bit too much to extend stay due to Icelandic volcano so went elsewhere instead.

Unlike many hotels with airport-shuttles to jfk, this one is in a latino- dominated neighborhood so that it's easy to find small restaurants, groceries and the like nearby, as well as bus stop and subway.

We like the shuttle bus service which was reliable and prompt. Just give them a call at Federal Circle station within airport and they will arrive within next 10 minutes. Room is very small but clean though. Breakfast was basic and was nice to have warm delicious waffles.
It would be more comfortable if the hotel provides comforter instead of old fashioned felt blankets which most hotels have discarded in this century.

Near to subway by foot and during our check in time the chinese gentlemen in charge on night duty was providing fast and excellent services.Good shuttle service even we quite late at that time.
I still remember the manager in charge name "S********".No smile. No greetings.Bad manager not even look at our face. And Don't expect too much on breakfast.

Great location, I can only recommend it for those who want to stay there a few nights, because you can be in manhattan within 30 minutes with the lirr trains. The station is like 5blocks away from the super jamaica. Also the breakfast was good. But I wouldn't stay there more than 3nights though, because it's too far to go in manhattan every day as well as the breakfast would get boring.all in all worth the money!
I stayed only one night before I went to another city, and I reserved a room with two for 2 persons, becuse there's no single room.but instead I got one with 2 kingbeds, so it was a room for like 4 people.also in the bathroom the shower head didn't work.and I found a few hear on the blanket.but in all I would say it was very clean, the bathroom was clean so that's something.

Polite staff. Room was clean and big enough although not extremely large. Could get into Manhattan in 30 minutes and Greenwich Village in 40 minutes. Near airport for free airport shuttle was best part of the experience.
Inadequate breakfast. No eggs. Just cereal, an apple, coffee, toast, bagel or self-made waffle and nothing more. No refrigerator in the room. Neighborhood defintely on the edge with homeless men and winos sleeping around the subway exit late at night.

The hotel is about 15 minutes away from JFK and within walking distance of the metro (Jamaica Van Wyck) and the Long Island Railroad. I found the staff to be helpful and the pick-up from the airport was fast and efficient ( you use the courtesy phone at JFK). Jamaica is about 35 minutes metro ride with the E line into 5th Avenue and downtown Manhatten. For me, the vast difference in room price was worth the metro ride. I bought a weekly ticket for 29 dollars. Wifi in the hotel was fast and free. Breakfast is simple (cereals, waffles and coffee but that is reflected in the rate.
I checked out the hotel on Google streetview before selecting this one, as opposed to a more expensive hotel in Brooklyn or Manhattan. Snce it was purely a business appointment I wanted a clean hotel near the subway. I was not disappointed. Don't expect a great night out in the vicinity of Jamaica. But I was not disappointed.

Five minutes walk to the Subway and youreach in 20 minutes the heart of the city. I believe that I got the value for my money back.
I would say that the breakfast room was very small.
